Clean Oil Recovery Technology (CORT)
We use a unique closed-loop oil recovery solvent-based system without any consumption of water. The solvent used in the extraction process is collected and recycled repeatedly. The only outputs are clean sand and hydrocarbon products.

The patented technology enables efficient and environmentally friendly extraction of clean oil from oil sands.

Oil sands ore is crushed.

Conveyance system transports to Facility Feed bin which receives the raw ore and mixes it with first phase solvent.

The first phase sand separation process removes sand and is integrated with phase 4 oil and solvent extraction - this allows for the patented solvent to better dissolve the crude oil.

In the pre oil tank the ore and solvent mixture is ready for fluid separation extraction.

Augers produce clean sand to sand holding tank and all remaining solvent and oil is captured and recycled.

Fluid and sediment extraction unit extracts sediment for increased quality of oil.

Fluid is heated to separate the solvent from the oil.

Secondary extraction column prepares fluid for solvent separation.

Evaporated solvent is recycled, leaving salable oil.

Heavy oil to be sold.
